Sailor Titanium Mermaid
There is currently no data on "Sailor Titanium Mermaid". Although said to be an agent of Queen Galaxia, she has never appeared on Earth.

I beg of you, dubbers of the Sailor Moon series, please, keep with Naoko's original idea of "Sailor Aluminum Siren".
The metal aluminium is called アルミニウム "aruminiumu" in Japanese (resembling the non-US spelling, or Latin version), but Naoko Takeuchi chose to call this character アルーミナム "arūminamu" (taken from the US pronunciation of the word, or aluminum). If you change her metal to titanium, it will overlap with the character Titanium Kerokko from the Musicals, which will cause ambiguity between characters.

And as for "siren" which is spelled セイレン "seiren" in the Japanese version, its spelling it taken from the Ancient Greek pronunciation of "σειρήν" (seirên).
Also, there is already a Sailor Mermaid from the planet Mermaid featuring in the manga, from whom Sailor Aluminum Siren stole a sailor crystal.

Again, I beg you to keep this consistent with Naoko Takeuchi's masterpiece. The change that occurred with Malachite and many other name changes in the DiC series were due to their desire to focus on a younger English-speaking audience who would not be familiar with Japanese nomenclature and they wanted to localize the series. The work you lot have done is superb and the best out there for the series.
Once your beautiful series is completed, your version of Sailor Stars will be representing the entire English-speaking community. You have a lot of power in your hands, please let the future generations of Sailor Moon fans enjoy the original name of this character. Whether one country calls it "aluminium" or "aluminum", when it comes right down to it, it does not matter. The English-speaking community should be thankful for either of those two choices (since it matches the original character's name).
Please, keep up the good work, if you need help with voice actors or donations, I can contribute generously to keep this project going.

We are well aware of the origins of names of the characters, but we have changed them to reflect the way DIC used to dub the series. I'm sorry that you do not like the name Titanium Mermaid, but it's the title that we came up with that kept all the fans happy. :)
I don't understand the point of this name change...Aluminum and Siren are both English words and pretty well known.
Titanium in my opinion is much less known than aluminum.
I'm not trying to attack your choice, I just don't understand it.
If I was going to change it from Siren I would choose Dolphin or something more that would fit with the other animal names.
Mermaid sounds strange to me (Yeah, Seiren made little sense too I guess).
Anyways, can't wait to see these episodes!
Thanks for your comment. The decision on changing Aluminum was the differences in different countries (Aluminum and Aluminium), and people decided it would be best to change it to something more common (which Titanium is). The term "Siren of the Silver Screen" decided the change to "Titanium" because it's a silver coloured element. And Since a Siren (Sea Nymph) resembles a Mermaid (plus the image that Siren draws of herself in the plane episode), it made sense to give her a more popular creature name.
If changing it to a more common metal were a choice, at least you could choose to call her "Silver Siren", if you will not keep the original "Aluminum Siren". It also brings out alliteration, and will not clash with Sailor Mermaid or Sailor Titanium Kerokko.

Change her metal back to aluminum, it sounded so much better that way.
To remove confusion from the different countries in which it is spelled and pronounced differently, all the fans decided that we go with something more common, which would still be the same colour as she is. It's just like Kunzite going to Malachite.
Color doesn't have a U in it.
No offense, but I'm sure that the admins have enough on their plate making the English dub without having to explain their motives behind changing Aluminum Siren's name and the correct spelling of "color".

I'm actually Australian, and YES it's spelled "colour". American's "Color" is just an altered form of the original English spelling.
correct! Canada also spells it as "colour". :) Please everyone don't tell someone that their spelling is incorrect when they are doing such a great job and know what they are doing :) Keep up the good work!

Hey so what do really do cuz i'm clueless! I'm around 11 years old so I'd like to audition I don't mind what role i get or if I even get a role. I've love Sailor moon ever since i got my Sailor Moon S movie then I started to watch every ep i could find on youtube. I'm going to make my own sailor moon costume as soon as one of my friends post some fabric to me! so please let me know ok? thanks =P ;D
